How to use email templates in Outlook?
If you want to leverage email templates, you can prefill Dynamics 365 email templates by using properly formatted text messages so that you don't have to type the same things time and again.
To get started, you will have to open the Dynamics 365 pane in Outlook and click on the three dots that highlight more commands. You will then have to choose Insert and then Add Template. Thereafter, you'll need to select the record type, then click on Select. Once this has been done, you can utilize the search box to choose an email template and then choose Add to Email.
How to set up workflows?
If you want to leverage Dynamics 365 workflows to automate different backend processes, you can easily run them on-demand as and when required. To get started, you'll need to open the module for which a new workflow has to be created. Then, you need to choose Setup -> [Name of module] workflows and click on New on the Action Pane when the list page appears before you. The last step is all about choosing the kind of workflow that you want to design on the Create Workflow page and choosing to Create a workflow to make the workflow editor appear.
To save and activate a workflow, you will have to click on Save and get out of the workflow editor. Now, you'll have to open the Save Workflow page and you can then see the Activate Workflow page if there are no errors. Thereafter, you will have to click on Activate the new workflow to enable the item.
