Microsoft has announced that its new Shopify connector for Dynamics 365 Business Central is now available for use.
The official Shopify integration to Business Central was planned as part of Shopify's ERP partner program with other participants being Netsuite, Acumatica, Infor, and Brightpearl.
Microsoft's Shopify Connector For Dynamics 365 Business Central will support multiple Shopify shops, order import from Shopify, synchronization of inventory levels and customers, bi-directional sync of items or products, and tracking of fulfillment information. The Shopify connector is based on Power Automate.
Microsoft MVP Roberto Stefanetti provided a first try of the setup and the documentation of findings on his blog.
Microsoft has acquired the Shopify integration solution from ISV firm scapta in addition to the Shopify connector for Business Central. Their connector will also be embedded into Business Central.
“This approach allows us to offer more value to our customers that need global commerce capabilities,” Microsoft GM Mike Morton wrote.
