Relationship Between Microsoft Teams And OneDrive To Get Tighter

Microsoft has announced a new update that will allow users to easily and quickly track down the files they need in Microsoft Teams.

It was revealed by the video conferencing service that it will add the capability to rename or delete files in a channel and in your OneDrive folder in Teams. In other words, users of the Microsoft cloud storage platform should have an easy way to find and customize the files they require the most within Microsoft Teams and ensure they are labeled as they want.

The change will initially only be available for iOS users of Microsoft Teams. The feature has a scheduled release this month. Users need to select More at the bottom of the Microsoft Teams app and then select Files to rename or delete a file from your OneDrive. Thereafter, users need to click on the three dots and choose to rename or delete it when the desired file is selected.

In a bid to be more intuitive and user-friendly, Microsoft OneDrive has also enjoyed several upgrades via a new feature that will allow it to automatically rename files without disturbing users with alerts noting that their files or folders have not synced properly. The change can even apply to files with names that contain invalid characters such as backward slashes, forward slashes, asterisks, and even colons.
